One of our specialties
is aesthetically pleasing child safety solutions in PLEXIGLASS. During our
in home safety consultations we
will share and recommend our "tailormade" ideas to especially
hazardous areas and challenging s afety
needs. We take the exact
measurements during the consultation, schedule a time for the
installation, and provide an "almost
invisible", yet child safe solution!
Edges and corners
are rounded for maximum safety.

Large floor items such
as plants and indoor trees a young child can easily pull over. In
this case a little 11 month old boy not only pulled the tree, but also ate
the leaves, got into the soil and made a mess on the carpets! We designed
a 36 inch high plexiglass tube and mounted it to the wall on top.
Another
little boy had a habit of turning on the ho t
water in the bath tub. We
invented 2 knob tubes that
would prevent the boy from accessing the knobs. All the parents needed
to do was to turn the knob tubes in the right position, where a cutout was
made, lift them up and at the same time turn the water knob. Easy for an
adult, but very difficult for a young child!

Knob shield designed for 48" wide
stove
He also one day managed to open the
oven doors, stood up on one door and turned a few knobs. All by himself he
started a few burners and was starring at them as his mother walked into
the kitchen! We installed to oven locks, designed and mounted a shield
that prevented the boy from accessing the knobs while allowing the parents
full access from the top.
